Dr. Stephen Haliczer

Stephen Haliczer is a Distinguished Research Professor at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. Dr. Haliczer received his B.A. from Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY, and his Ph.D. from St. Andrew's University in Fifeshire, Scotland.

His current research interests include the history of the Catholic Church as an institution, online learning, digital learning, computer simulations and board games, and the use of decision and creativity support systems to help groups generate more and better ideas and more sophisticated models in both an online and blended course environment.
